Singer, pianist, songwriter, arranger, producer: Robert Mosci is a musician with an exceptional range of skill and experience. Born in New York City, he grew up in a family of musicians, and had mastered an eclectic array of instruments and musical styles by the time he reached his teens. Robert played classical bassoon with several orchestras (including performances with Stokowski and Ormandy), and performed as a keyboard player, blues harpist, and singer with local NYC bands. Studying all aspects of jazz and popular music at Boston's Berklee College of Music, his skills were honed as a pianist while he added saxophone to his impressive instrumental credits. In Boston, Robert performed with several popular area groups and also developed a solo act, incorporating original music into his performances. Following his return to New York, he played regularly in clubs on the Greenwich Village scene. He soon began performing at some of New York's elegant nightspots, and eventually became the resident musician at the Beekman Tower Hotel's famed art-deco lounge, the Top of the Tower on New York's east side.

Robert has recently moved on, and now performs at the famed Water Club overlooking the East River. Known for his sensitive vocal and piano interpretations of pop standards and original songs, he has attracted a loyal following of listeners. Robert's most recent release Holidays received airplay on more than 300 radio stations around the country. His first 3 releases, First Portrait, One by One, and Frankly Speaking have all received significant national radio airplay. Chip Defaa, cabaret/jazz reviewer in the New York Post called Robert's a "pure, smooth, yearning voice", and Erickson Blakney in the Boston Globe said "Mosci has a rich, smooth voice-perfect for sophisticated classics". Robert has also composed and recorded several sports music themes, including a jingle used for a NYC sports radio talk show host, and a theme eventually purchased by a major New York baseball franchise. He is married to the artist, Sarah Yuster. They live in cozy Staten Island, where they are raising their two children. Robert's work has been unmistakably marked by this breadth of influences - from the classic, to the best of contemporary sounds-as well as by his innate musical sensibility. His artistry as composer and lyricist is well matched by his dynamic performance talents.
